Easter weather update

Gales and horizontal rain yesterday, gales and big swell this morning - it must be Easter!
The sea was downright angry this morning but just (very) grumpy this afternoon. The gales have died down but there's still plenty of swell to fight the wind. It's sunny so spectacular to watch - walkers are thoroughly enjoying the coastal path - it's just not much use if you're trying to work.
Most of the fishing boats aren't in the water so there are a lot of boatmen watching the various forecasts and swapping stories about weather and sea conditions over the years. You have to be tough to fish for a living.
Most visitors care primarily about rain so should find plenty of days to enjoy being out and about in Pembrokeshire's beautiful countryside but those of us operating boats will be glued to those wind forecasts!
