5 foot conger eel at St Justinian

A 5ft conger eel was swimming around the slip at St Justinian yesterday. They tend to lurk around rocks under water rather than checking out slipways. I've never come across one and I don't want to! Tim had an interesting time when one joined him in a dingy years ago (standing on the tubes as the conger flailed around on the deck getting increasingly cheesed off at him). Apparently when they get their jaws stuck into something they can't let go. Diesel dog won't be swimming at St J without an armed protective guard!
